RIP Alan Whicker. A fabulous broadcaster of wonderful documentaries. Whicker's World was one of the best documentary programmes ever. What a pity he had so little respect from TV executives in his later years. :(:

Like Dianne Abbott jumping on the cigarette advertising backdown, Mr Fry has got his soapbox out on Whicker and its all over t'internet like flies on shit just to talk bollocks about playwright Andrew James Wilson

I doubt Alan based his career on stealing somebody's credit card, then continuing to gain attention by whinging about some medical disorder.

Break a neck next time.
