I watched "Inglourious Basterds" over the weekend. What a great movie, fantastic acting, great plot and a great musical score.Ive always been a big fan of Quentin Tarantino the "Kill Bill"movies were nothing short of superb, and i love "pulp fiction" and "reservoir dogs"...but his last movie was by far the best.
Next year hes planning on writing and direction another movie "kill bill 3"...carnt wait!!
Any other Tarantino fans in the forum?

Got most of his movies here, I thought Dusk til Dawn was a bit of a dud though, quite good til it turned into a vampire flick. His movies shouldn't really work but they do, his experiences of watching every movie in the world while he worked down his local video store surely helped. I resisted watching Kill Bill for years. I just couldn't see the idea working but it does work, wow, how it works :splif: He seems to get the soundtracks nailed as well. That obscure brassy score for Kill Bill is ultra-cool. Pulp Fiction score is legendary. He just seems to get it right more often than not. I'll likely buy Inglorious...at some point :splif:

You can count me in Stinkymouse. Though I didn't know that Kill Bill 3 was in the pipeline. I can only wonder when it comes out. :D

Now you know why the film industry feels it is better to rehash.

QT certainly deserves a medal, too bad it isn't for originality.

I think of him as being a bit over-rated really. But my judgement could be coloured by when I went to see Reservoir Dogs - which I thought was OK, nothing special - and a few rows down from me were a couple of Dogs geeks who kept laughing at every in-joke they knew was coming, pointing to the screen to show what was happening and other no-doubt-special-QT-style jokes and generally putting me off!

I'm a big fan.

Kill Bill Vol. 1 > Pulp Fiction > Reservoir Dogs > Kill Bill Vol. 2 > Inglorious Basterds > Jackie Brown > Death Proof
