Always a question I like to ask people....

The irony is I never keep a defacto top 5 in my head as it kinda depends on what mood you are in the time you compile it (well it is for me anyway).

At the moment of writing this, it is:

1) Leon
2) The Usual Suspects
3) Raiders of the Lost Ark
4) The Fellowship of the Ring
5) Starwars
6) Scent Of A Woman

Couldn't keep it to 5....

I can't have a top 5, there's too many to choose from. So here's a mix of films I have seen recently and loved and some I saw ages ago and popped into my head just now and would like to see again.

1. Dead Mans Shoes
2. Step Brothers
3. Dumb and Dumber
4. 50/50
5. The Sixth Sense.

A lot of comedy's must need cheering up.

I find it hard to think of films. Seen so many.

Is it me or is there a theme there....

To be fair, I'm a big Python fan myself.

Now THAT is a film.

Ipcress is excellent, but Billion Dollar Brain pips it for me, just for the final scene (Palmer being the only one left alive).

I've never got to see all of District 9 in one sitting, but the first hour was rather good.

I've got no chance of narrowing down to five, but would have to include Quatermass and the Pit (colour), Gattaca, Falling Down, The Arrival, or Ghost In the Shell as contenders.

Then contemplate, A Matter of Life and Death, Toy Story, Young Frankenstein or Robocop

As above, five is impossible as moods change. (Check out The Cell for the premise and effects, which are - imo - unsurpassed)

Beverly hills cop
Christine
Highlander (the original)
Duel
Convoy
Flashback
Terminator 1 & 2 (3 was shite!)
Die Hard's
Last boy scout
Seven
Independence Day (Load of shit but thoroughly enjoyable load of shit)
Kellys Heroes
Dirty harry Magnum force
National Lampoons Animal house
Blues Brothers
Ghostbusters
Groundhog day

More than 5 there but all good.
