Me too read the book before the film..

Squirm? See that?  Terry and I used to go and see these horror films just released..

They really back then used to go beyond! :groan:

Lots of those films were more or less banned later.. We used to rent lots of them later.. :) Some of them were vile though... Back then you could rent any old shit...no way would I want to see shit like that now though.. Although Sentinal not so bad..it was the sexual violent films I have problems with..

Bit different back then.. You probably wasn't even born.. Or just!

We used to get 'I spit on your grave, Texas chainsaw jobby.. Loads of films like that.. Nasties..

I love the hammer horror movies... BBC years ago produced some goodies as well one of my faves is the Night of the demon.. I sent you that wots awhile ago was it any good? Re the copy of it? Or was it crap?

i like the good gory ones , the hack n slash types . some of the ones that were banned in the 80's as " nasties " are sometimes shown on the horror channel :)

a shame he died so young :(
some of his books were made into films , but they just didn't work really . for instance , the film of fluke gives away the ending of the story right at the start of the film

Talking of Stephen King, one film I do like is Misery. Think Kathy Bates is great in it. The hobbling scene makes me turn away from the TV though :eek4:
