Can't say I ever listened it. I listened to Radio1 as a kid until it got shit, I started listening to Capital Radio after that. These days I don't bother with it, the BBC are crap and commercial radio is all bloody quizzes.

I still listen to Caroline on Sky channel 0199. I know it's not the same as when they were on the ship but they still play some pretty good stuff and of course they are not constricted by a tiny play list like most stations.

A lot of the DJ's are ex Caroline/other offshore pirates.

They still own and maintain the Ross Revenge and they are talking about moving the studios there although they will be staying moored up.

Up in the North East of England it was Radio North Sea, But 208 Radio Luxembourg was the daddy of them all.

Does Horace Bachelor mean anything to anybody

The top boat was the one that sunk - i remember being on a fishing trip when we were on holiday in about 1984 and seeing the aerial mast sticking out of the water! We used to listen to Laser 558 live from the North Sea in the '80's, high powered, fast paced American Top 40 Radio for the UK, was completely different to listening to bloody Our Tune on Radio 1
