Do some songs only become gay with hindsight? Maybe I'm wrong, but the music of groups like ABBA & Boney M didn't seem to have that aura at the time.
As for Boney M, I liked Daddy Kool but after that I found them a bit silly A lot of kids liked them and someone described their singles as 'electric nursery ryhmes'.
