Did anyone see Queen + Paul Rodgers on Happy hour last night?

I was (am) a huge Queen fan and was devastated when Freddie Mercury died. When I heard Brian May & Roger Taylor were hooking up with Paul Rodgers I thought "Pah! That'll be rubbish!"

Well I totally changed my opinion after seeing them on the tellybox last night! I really enjoyed the song they played, thought Paul Rodgers had an excellent voice and as for Brian & Roger, well they've still got it! The whole thing rocked!

I think they should rename themselves. Freddie was such a big character, in a sense he was the spirit of Queen.

As good a vocalist as PR is, he can never fill his shoes. No one can really.

I completely agree, it's not really Queen without John & Freddie.

Still, The Who still call themselves The Who and there's only 2 of them left now.

Paul Rogers - one of the finest singers this country ever produced. Queen should be honoured.

Of course another way of looking at it, is that it was Free without Paul Kossoff,Simon Kirke and Andy Fraser.
