RIP Val Doonican

Aged 88, no illnesses, just old age.

I met Val doonican in 1981 when I was working in a studio. Very nice chap indeed

Aww my mum was, she had department stores wanting her to knit for them.. I had some beautiful clothes my mum knitted me,my dad had the most gorgeous Aran cardigans and jumpers..

I can knit ok but I used to have to go round mums with needles and wool,I'd make mistakes.. :)

The Val Doonican show was too boring for even my dad to bother watching - and that's saying something. :):

But I'm sure he was liked by many and was a decent bloke. RIP.
