Strangely, last night Mrs S and i went on the spur of the moment to see Eric Martin of the 80's hair metal band Mr Big, perform a small gig at a Sheffield nightclub. Just him, his acoustic Guitar and 50 or so attendees.

He was bloody brilliant!

Cyndi Lauper is doing fine in the States. Saw a concert of hers the other week, the guest stars she had with her top musos so she seems to be doing OK.

Singers are so disposable these days, you'll be asking where they are in 18 months time

Kate Bush has never had it so good.

78,000 tickets were sold for the run of shows, with tickets selling out in 15 minutes.

Nothing to do with releasing one or two good tracks and the rest being total shite, i suppose?

In some cases, but mostly I would say the record companies have found fresh 'artistes' to place the songs and the productions with.
