Before my time (just) though I can appreciate their style in those days.

I did speak to Mick in the early 90's if only to talk him into adjusting his satellite dish and receiver within his French reposse, whilst I was stuck in an office near Staples Corner :stomp:

My favourite ?

I much prefer the Stones to the (IMO) vastly overrated Beatles.

A Stones beauty...

But over both (keeping a Stones link - The fantastic Ronnie Wood) The Faces.....

I was bored and decided to update my signature but i couldnt think of anything to put, so i decided to just put Bollocks!

In the earlier sixties I thought of the Beatles as vastly overrated, and the Stones were much better. Later on in the decade the Beatles had improved enormously with stuff like Sgt Pepper but still the Stones' 'Their Satanic Majesties Request' and in the following year 'Beggars Banquet' came out which was their best ever LP in my 'umble opinion. :)

So I'd vote for the Stones out of the two groups.

There were also other bands around who were pretty good too. For example I preferred Cream over either of 'em :):
