Eoghan's version isn't too bad actually :o I like how he sings the start of the song.

"Who does the washing? Who does the drying? No one, with this washer dryer" - Jim Bowen

I still need you there beside me
No matter what I do
For I know
I'll never find another you
- The Seekers

"Life is what happens to you when you're away making other plans" - John Lennon

"Names Gene Hunt, your DCI and its 1973. Almost dinner time. I'm havin' hoops!"

it's enough to make you ill.

Eogan Quigg? who is this awful little cretin? and who has paid money to make such an abysmal musical recording of hallelujah and have this boy sing such an appalling vocal over it? is his dad in the music industry or something?

Foo foo. Let's all foo foo.

No his dad is not in the music industry ... far from it ... Eoghan comes from a working class family in a very small town ... I'm certainly not his biggest fan, but he is only sixteen and I say fair play to him for his ambition ... :thumb:

He could have been number one, if he'd won the x factor - which for a while looked almost likely

It fascinated me, once I'd heard that the winners song ( ergo the christmas number one) would be Hallelujah, what Eoghan would have made of it...or rather how he'd have been directed to interpret it.

However, we never got to hear it on the night, because he got evicted before the Hallelujah round.

A song about the ecstasy of orgasm, sung by a sixteen year old puppy....

Its also quite amusing trawling youtube looking for other versions by people who just don't get it.

Katherine Jenkins. Il Divo.

Alexandra.

I didnt mind Alex's version. I love the 1st part but John Cale's version is the best IMO :D
