I had an Atari 500 when I was barely out of toddler age. I remember playing a lot of Centipede and Pac-man on it.

The Amiga 500 was a damned fine gaming platform. Did you ever play Alien Breed on it per chance?

I think you can download Alien Breed for the PC free of charge somewhere with the same graphics and sounds as the 'Miggy had.

I think it goes under the name Alien Breed: Obliteration these days.

That's a bummer, Wots. It had some corking good games on it.

I used my Amiga for music too, Soundtracker/Noisetracker & later Octamed were the weapons of choice for me. My first EP was written entirely on an amiga.

Unfortunately PC only, but if you want some remakes of real oldskool classics, check out http://retrospec.sgn.net/game/wizball ..Wizball was one of my all time faves for the C=64.

I recently got hold of Another World which someone had ported to the Mac; another blast from the Amiga past.

If you thought Another World was good, Richie - play Flashback: The Quest for Identity. Made by the same people and takes the fun level up to eleven. :)

Though I've never played Knights of the Sky, Wots. Though I do remember playing a lot of Lemmings and Walker.

knights of the sky was great you flew missions during world war 1 ,take on well known pilots of the day. and you could also link two miggys together and play against each other :)

Sounds pretty sweet, much like a WW1 version of Wings of Fury. Though I didn't know you could link Miggies up like that.

That would have been far too technical for me when I played with my Amiga.
