Loading games from a cassette that took 5 minutes!!!! - And a most reliable storage medium .... NOT.... Especially when it used to fail at 4m 58s :maduk:

I did crumbs. Had an interword rom on my model B, and when I bought a master128 it had view and viewsheet. A cumana 80 track floppy disk drive and a citizen dot matrix printer. Those were the days lol

I once lost my rag after the game crashed four times during loading and threw the Spectrum across the room which surprisingly still worked afterwards :oops:

sometimes all you had to do was get a little screwdriver and adjust the playback head on the cassette player and that worked , also cleaning the heads worked too :)
speccys were tough little things and loads of fun :)
