Are newspapers nearing death?

Does anyone actually buy a paper any more?

Establishment propaganda rag, The Guardian is pleading for donations again

Surely sales must be nearing a level where these propaganda outlets are unsustainable without being pumped full of elite cash to keep them on life support?

Dunno why people even read em online. I just get on with my life. Dont want to read depressing news stories bringing me down.

Haven't bought a national newspaper in years. Occasionally buy the local rag though.
