Sky has got worse. Documentary channels are either re-runs of programmes I've seen a thousand times or American Guns, Sons of Guns, Family Guns, Retard Guns, Freedom and Democracy Guns, God n Guns, Guns, Guns and more fucking Guns.

There are too many channels on Sky showing too many repeats. Another example is Home and Discovery Home & Health both repeating Homes Under The Hammer, and ITV2, Reality TV and CBS Drama showing Judge Judy.

Back in the Sky analogue and early digital days, there was more quality and choice with the channels, and less repeats.

  .... try reading a book then

If I had my way I wouldn't watch tv. Well apart from downloaded stuff. You don't need a licence for catch up tv. Only stuff that's broadcast at the time.

With the amount of repeats and shit shown on the BBC, they might as well scrap their channels altogether.

Does this mean my licence fee will reduce as I pay sky as well??

Probably only save about £5 million, which is about 20p per TV licence per year. Roughly the same amount as they spend on Bruce Forsyth's wages, limos and make-up. :)

That could work against you getting good reading grades though, and it will get far worse the closer to secondary school age.
