Early satellite TV was Telstar in 1962 :eek4: Shit picture but got us on the road to where we are now :splif:

I had one of these in the 1990s.

A Pace 508 Motorised system with a 90 cm dish and Dmac decoder and dodgy card.



A lot of fun tuning into the free Movie, Sport channels( Screensport was a great little channel).

Plus all the adult channels from across Europe

I didn't have satellite TV until about the year 2000 (Sky Digital). I had On digital for about a year before that. So missed out on the analogue satellite days completely.

On Digital/ITV Digital didn't really stands a chance against Sky. It was about the same cost for a fraction of the channels Sky offered.
