I say! Stop downloading please! - pretty please

Deal to combat piracy in UK with 'alerts' is imminent.

After years of wrangling, a deal between entertainment industry bodies and UK internet service providers to help combat piracy is imminent.

BT, Sky, TalkTalk and Virgin Media will send "educational" letters to customers believed to be downloading illegally.

The gist of it is, according the ZBC news channel this morning, is that downloader's internet connections won't be cut off but up to 4 warning letters of increasing severity in tone will sent out and after that nothing.

"Yo blood I'm on me 4th letter, ya get meeee!"

"Yeah respect innit!"

I'd like to see them prove that what I'm downloading through an SSL socket from a usenet server is pirated material :-)

There are many things that I could do today. I could in fact help any one of you, but I won't. :)

Please would you send me a PM on who to download/stream pirated TV programmes without being detected? I found using a proxy server unsatisfactory and am not technically minded. Many thanks.
