The only handicap to real Lomography for me is the film. I take far too many pics and simpyl couldn't afford the film costs, or be able to carry enough film around with me. But yup the reason I bought the NOkia 808 ( superceding my Sony TX-5 ) is to have a camera that I can take anywhere. And I do.
great fun.

Just got my Cybershot out of the back of a drawer for the first time in months. Forgotten how to use it. I'll look for the charger lead then maybe keep it in the car.
Seemingly there are software tools to simulate Lomo edge blurring and darkening.
One cool trick is to put the cam on self timer and throw it up in the air so it snaps at random on it's flying journey - Obviously not the sort of thing to try with your expensive DSLR, but cheap compacts must be almost free these days, especially some old 4MP job, which is plenty for this kind of stuff. IOW if you fail to catch the cam who cares

Just how far through that 5 litre box of red wine are you now? What a very odd idea - I suppose if you want abstract blurry art photos then maybe. That Damien Hurst chappie might grab that idea and sell them for billions to suckers though.
Well I'll not be tossing my 250 quid cybershot around anytime soon. And the cheapo cam I keep in the car in case of accidents doesn't have timer shots anyway.
I think they do Lomo filters for Photoshop, I seem to remember you have a version of that ?

Actually the idea is to get sharp snaps from above
I use Lightroom to edit my pics and yup Lomo effects are pretty easy on it. But really the Lomogrpahy ethos is mostly about the picture taking itself rather than the post processing.
