I just had cheese on toast for breakfast Feel stuffed andoubt I'll be faint with hunger waiting for my work meal break like i usually am when ive eaten cereal.
I agree with you crumbs. Apart from the body storing fat as fat. When you eat a highly fatty meal your body will try to expell the majority in your poo. A lot of it goes into your bloodstream though, very unhealthy especially for doing exercise.
Simplisticly put I agree, but it's really about eating more fat and less carbs and more importantly eating less carb laden processed shite. It's not just about the calories, nor is it just about fat protein and carbs it's about the nutrients.
A nutritionist made a very important point on LBC yesterday which is this:
Carb laden processed shite has very little nutrition so the bady craves more and more until it gets enough nutrients. That's why people can scoff themselves stupid on biscuits, crisps, pop, huge ready meals etc
Real food contains lots of nutrients so the body feels fuller quicker and people tend to eat a lot less
"Conversely, if I loaded myself up with carbs and watched the telly"
Yup

Was only hungry at half ten. Had way more energy than usual too. Time goes so much quicker when you are not hungry

Cool. I read somewhere recently that protein breakfasts were better than carb versions

Dunno. Though I need some carbs for my job. But I can tap into my fat reserves I suppose, ie the beer belly
It's true, I try and dodge carbs, and usually do, on the days I can't exercise plus due to my back problems I now no longer do weights, so even more a carb dodger, however they're not the evil everyone makes them out to be but yes if you load up on cars, particularly at night, then veg out in font of the telly, anything the liver can't process and the body can't expel is stored as fat.
Eating a no fat diet is a no no cos the body wil just hold onto any fat it has since it doesn't now where it's next load is coming from, leading to alsorts of problems.
Crumbs you don't take protein shakes do you? Bodybuilders etc seem to think they ned to lay on the protein thick, when in actual fact 17-19% is enough for anyone lifting weights. Too much protein and our kidneys have to work overtime, in other words, no just end up pissing your money up a wall, literally, cos you'll just pee out what proteins our body doesn't need.
S for proceed shit, I can't stand it. I cook when I can from scratch so the minute we go for a bar meal or somewhere like weatherspoons you get that horrible, microwave meal, full of sugary sauce taste, so we tend to stick to pubs that do proper home made stuff and it really does fill you up. I made my son home made pizza, which he loves, and being a greedy guts sked for a whole one, which I gave him and he loved it but couldn't even finish half of it. I worked in pub chains for years and now where their fod comes from and then*chef* is only a heater upper in these places.
