gawd knows why this interests me, but it does! :thumb:

Princess Anne has been spotted wearing the same dress to a wedding that she wore to Charles and Dianas wedding 27 years ago.

Now, I used to love wearing "vintage" ( bugger to wash the stuff though) - although not all clothes deserve another outing...but good for her!

I applaud her frugality - a commendable trait. It must have taken a very sharp eyed observer to spot that.

Or maybe not, it is an awfully foul dress and if you noticed it once then it would stick in your mind. Yuck and double yuck. I wouldn't have worn it once if I were her.

p.s I don't actually wear dresses - just in case that crossed your mind. :):

Keep your old clothes if they are in good condition. Sooner or later the fashion pendulum swings back again.

Also i can't help feeling that vintage clothes of the past were better quality. I still have my old duffel coat that i wore as a kid, the quality is fantastic and it's got real horn toggles :cool1:... Doesn't fit me anymore though :o but i am keeping it in case if ever i should have kids, or pass on to nephews. :):

I once bought a '40 ( I think...) powder blue jacket on a Parisian flee market for what amount to 20 pounds.. So lovely made... I wore it a lot with a pair of black trousers. It does not fit me anymore, but I just like to look at it now and again, it is that beautiful...

I used to wear these fifties tops - I had quite a few, they look fab with jeans.
