Not at all - thanks for the warning, it's something I need to be sure of - I'm only getting a second rabbit to keep her company! If she'll hate him, there's no point.

They are probably right. Does are massively territorial. And quite violent.

The most I've seen bucks do is hump each other for dominance.

Whether long range weapon or suicide bomber a wicked mind is a weapon of mass destruction whether you're soar away sun or BBC 1 misinformation is a weapon of mass destruc you could a Caucasian or a poor Asian racism is a weapon of mass destruction whether inflation or globalization fear is a weapon of mass destruction whether Halliburton or Enron or anyone greed is a weapon of mass destruction we need to find courage, overcome inaction is a weapon of mass destruction

I've checked on a rabbit forum (!) apparently they need to be kept separate for about 4 weeks post op, I'll see if the breeder can keep him for a few weeks after he's 'done' - failing that, I've found another otter rex which is a rescue bun, and they can keep him til he's hormone free...... so I now have 2 options! Thanks for the info guys!

GIR - even Buttons, who is sweet natured, got quite nasty as she approached sexual maturity age - that's one of the reasons we had her spayed, it's also better for them (about 95% of does will die of ovarian cancer by the age of 5, if not spayed). Wow, I'm becoming a rabbit anorak! :eek4:

   I still wear a pair of jeans with a hole in them from a friend's rabbit who nibbled right through them to me leg about 12 years ago! It happened really quickly - their teeth must be razor sharp!

But OMFG, the cuteness!
