We have got too many channels now and none of them are worth watching.
F***ing unadulterated rubbish all of them.
Bring back the golden days of just 3 channels. ITV, BBC 1 and 2.

most of them are crap I agree.

I remember going to America to stay with some friends for a couple of weeks in the early 90s. we still had 4 channels back then IIRC. They had cable with hundreds of channels.

Not only was the picture shit, it was NTSC, but the channels were shit as well. It was like going into a head shop and seeing 1,000 different types of crap drugs for sale that gave you nasty side effects.

I wouldn't like a return to only 3 channels though. I might only watch three channels, but they are channels catering for my tastes. :)

The only TV that I watch as of late are the news channels, wild life documentaries or real life crime programmes. Americans live in a fantasy world anyway so it's understandable why they have over a hundred channels.

BBC news propaganda Channel, BBC3 for comedy ( Family Guy,American Dad, etc ) and during my insomnia bouts the bedroom TV comes on and I select something from the Discovery documentary type channels ( Iv'e seen most of it now though. I wish they'd make some new programs )

I'm not a massive Channel 5 fan, but it does show some good stuff. Also, by launching its time shifted service, this brings Channel 5 in line with a lot of other broadcasters.
