Hello there Bunni! Cute user name.

My Mother loves James Patterson. She got addicted to him when she had her gall bladder trouble.

Kate Atkinson at the moment. I'd already read her 2 later ones before starting on Behind the Scenes at the Museum last week. It's made me buy her other 2 off ebay.

It's difficult trying to put down favourite authors isn't. All of them generally write some crap at some time or the other. I tend to read everything that James Herbert writes, likewise Jilly Cooper. I love Dickens and Wilkie Collins and I'd put Thomas Hardy in there except that some of his books have left me feeling cold. I like early Stephen King books, likewise the earlier Scarpetta stories by Patricia Cornwell.

Oh and Marian Keyes is another author I read everything she's wrote. I actually think she's fantastic and it's a shame some of her books come under the put down genre of 'chick lit'.

I just started One Good Turn last night, it's great! Even though I haven't read Case Histories...

I'd never heard of her before and I'd finished a book at work on night and saw Case Histories on one of their bookshelves so I thought I'd give it a try.

I've just had Emotionally Weird and Human Croquet delivered today so I'll start one of them tonight.
