...and again and again!

Does anyone have a favourite book that they have read more than twice!

For me its Stephen Ambrose's Band of Brothers, I absolutely love it and am now reading it for the 5th time. Once a year I just get the urge to pick it up and read it, its brilliant!

Looooove the series too!

Read my Sig for my thoughts :)

Books are so much better than the film as anyone that reads knows.

I like to read the previous book to the new book just as it comes out so I can remember the intricacies of the story and so I'm not guessing for the first 30 pages or the whole book. Hope that makes sense, does to me with a few drinks down me. :D
I'm currently reading The Wheel of Time series of books. It has 14 in the series, I'm up to the 5th, and I prefer that I don't have to wait a year or so for the next one as the series is finished, albeit by another author for the last 2.
A Song of Ice and Fire is different though as I and millions of others are on the edge of orgasm waiting for the next book :banghead:

But to answer the question :D
The books I have read again and again are any of the Shannara series by Terry Brooks but mainly the Elfstones of Shannara and The Scions of Shannara. Oh and one of my fave books of all time cos I bought the three books in the series in one Hardcover, The Voyage of Jerle Shannara. What a big heavy book that was. Like a 15th century Bible.

How to have sex without a woman knowing....only joking

Also Robin Hobb is my fave Author at the minute. I would recommend that her books be read by everyone.

I wish I had the Red Dwarf books as I've read them a few times from borrowing them off my brother. They are quite costly though and you cant buy em new, not since I last checked and the library doesn't have them.
They have so much more in the book than whats shown on tv and more to the story.

I have read the Earth Children series by Jean Aul a few times, also a couple of Dean Koontz, mainly 'Lightning' and Strangers'. I have just read 11/22/63 by Stephen King, and I know I am going to read that again, so good it is.

I've lost count of the number of times I've read some of my Stephen King books.
