Hi Whirlegig thanks for the welcome :) dont know how I missedthe hello thread!

I don't really read any particular kind of books, just if the blurb takes my interest. I've recently read a book by Tawni ODell called Sister Mine and couldn't put it down. Can't remember the title of the second book I read by her but it was good too.

I'll go through my memory banks to let you know a few others that I enjoyed.

What kind are you into?

its easy to miss stuff when you don't know your way around - but you'll soon find your way about -

I used to read anything and everything - more recently I dont have as much time or the concentration span either , but I do like to keep up to date with whats around and am always interested in hearing about what others are enjoying or recommending.

Tawni O'Dell? Dont think i know of her actually....i shall go and look her up.

Hello Hitman, Gemo and No Chance :) I hope so too No Chance.

Whirlegig, if I enjoy a book I write down all the other books they've written and work my way throughthem. That way I find my fav authors.

One more question - I sitll cant find Say Hello without using your link (in the index drop down menu) - is there a quicker way to find it please?

Constance - the Meet n Greet thread is the first thread in the General Discussion forum - its stuck to the top!

I looked up Tawni O'Dell and found her book Back Roads was an Oprah Book Club read - and it gets really highly acclaimed reviews. Looks interesting!

Oh thanks Whirlegig,

Back Roads was great - very dark and atmospheric. Still can't get hold of Coal run for some reason though.

Will you read them?

I'll have a look for Back Roads when I'm in Waterstones next. My problem is just finding time to sit down and concentrate without interruptions. There are so many books I'd love to get stuck into and just cant. The one at the top of my list right now is Calums Road - I got it about a month ago now, and so far have read the cover a few times....
