Loved the Royle Family. Great writing and she was great in it as well. RIP :(

I thought someone must have died from the Royle Family, because I was listening to Radio 2 on the car journey home and they played Half the World Away and just caught them saying "it's very sad". Didn't have it on very loud so didn't hear who.

It was series 3 episode 3. Elsie's funeral. Though cant remember exactly why it was so funny.
I watched the episode where Nana died today. That was a great episode.

I'd never heard the verse of the song about a "sweetheart" afaik, there was one that went:

When I was just a child, it's true
I asked my teacher 'What should I try?'
Should I paint pictures?
Should I sing songs?
This was her wise reply
Que sera sera... etc
