BBC Radio WM's Ed Doolan has helped restore classic episodes of Dad's Army having taped hundreds of programmes during the 60s and 70s.

Ian Lavender presents a restored episode of Dad's Army shown for the first time in almost 40 years in colour. Captain Mainwaring is horrified to discover that he is not a commissioned officer.

Yep, looks as good as new. :):

I was hoping it was a 'new' ep, but I've seen the B&W version before - quite a good episode anyway.

I'll let you know in 20 minutes. Stereo doesn't necessarily mean the audio signal is in stereo. Just means the media audio format is stereo.

No it's not widescreen or stereo. The restoration is incredible though. the audio quality is great too.
