I believe ITV rescheduled it this week to 9pm, so that they could grab some more money from people phoning in to BGT.
Anyway, having changed the transmission time yet again they are then overtaken by events.
Should it have been shown? My opinion is that it should. Tragic as events have been in Cumbria and God knows they've had a shitty year there - floods, coach crash, nutter with a gun, I think we need to remember that Corrie is fiction - though I was told a long time ago that they use the Manchester Evening News as inspriation for story lines.
Postponing it only reinforces the view in many peoples' minds that it is real. If it happens occasionally that real life and fiction coincide, so be it. They could have put out a warning before transmission so anyone who was upset by it could switch off.
If they bugger about with the timings of Corrie much more they'll just lose more and more viewers - but maybe that's a subtle way of winding it down...

I love Harry Hill, but I don't think they should have cancelled it.

well its dammed if you do or dammed if you dont and really who has really suffered ....

I see the BBC did not have the same sensitivity ...their programme looking for a country pile was based in this area today .... I still have massive suspicions over this whole story ... :chin: but the zionists love rubbbing peoples noses in their doings .

Should've been cancelled years ago. When Mavis left the street, that was the killer for me :howl:

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I met Fred Feast many years ago. His real persona was very similar to that of the character he played, i.e. unpleasant and full of himself. Cannot imagine why Barbara Windsor would have had a fling with him.
