Hollyoaks did a lot better this year than it has done in a while, as far as I can tell. Maybe it is now going to get more recognition... :) Poor Doctors... what about the Bill, would that be included? Ah well, EE lost out to Coronation Street, which is a shame. I don't like the street. :(

Can't imagine why Doctors didn't get an award. The sheer reality of it beyond compare

I quite like Doctors

Don't catch it very often, but always enjoy it when I do. Actually, come to think of it, I prefer it to all the other soaps.

I saw a bit of the awards programme on telly the other night. I got a bit emotional when Liz Dawn was getting her Lifetime Achievement award. She looked quite poorly.

Wonder how the big guns thought about being usurped by a soap with a quarter of the audience. My own view on Hollyoaks is some of the plotlines are good- well it comes from the people who made Brookside- but the acting is awful. With better actors, this could really do well.

Doctors is one of those Crossroads/Albion Market/Eldorado quality programmes. It's rubbish, but watchable when there's nothing else on and nothing better to do.

It surely deserved a booby prize. or even boobs. :)

Wot no Echo Beach, very possibly the worst soap since A Country Practice.
